Niarn

The Danish rapper Niarn rose to fame as he released the album”Årgang 79” (Born in ’79).

The album was welcomed by the Danish youth as a breathtaking fist to the face: Stories about life in the fast lane, breaking out of the suburbs and moving to the city.

 

Niarn verbalized the tabooed feelings of the Danish youth culture and instead of pointing with a patronizing finger he reached the crowd eye height.

 

Later the album “Antihelt” (Antihero) followed and contributed to Niarn’s position in the absolute elite on the Danish hip-hop scene.

 

Soon a new album is on its way.

The expression is still raw and unpolished and no matter whether you find it provoking or annoying it is still “fucking Niarn Baby”!
